To Herbert T Sherrill, a super guy who saved my life more than once during combat.
A big, 6' 2" black dude and a Sergeant E-6. He called me his little buddy.
He was killed in combat in June of 1967, leaving a big hole in my heart.
I will never forget my big buddy.
